Let me tell you something, don't pass up this restaurant. Best meal during our visit to Tennessee. Listen I will drive out of my way to eat there again. Great food, very courteous staff, greeted with a smile and thanked for our visit. Don't miss it, you want be sorry.

Love the catfish. On Tuesdays, they serve catfish and fries for two, for only 12.99 and for 2.99 extra, you can get white beans, cole slaw and hushpuppies served cafeteria style. Food and service is always excellent.

The food was delicious, the portions were very generous, and the prices were reasonable. What's not to love? I also really appreciated that their kids menu had a lot of options other than the traditional hamburger, hot dog, or chicken strips. My daughter was really excited to get pasta Alfredo for dinner.

Goodness gracious. Etowah graced us with one, and then gave us one in Athens. What did we ever do to deserve a Micheal's? I am so unsure, but I do know we must keep doing it for the sake of our tastebuds.

I always got good food from there never any complaints but today I went and got a rib eye steak to go and got home it was terrible there wasn't 3 oz out of 12 oz of steak that you could eat rest was fat and tough waste of 20 bucks. Update the owner did reach out to me and I wasnt leaving the review for free meal not my intention and even with this one time bad experience wouldnt keep me from going back like I said before every time I been there before the food has been great and will be going back to eat there again I'm sure it was just and oversight thanks

Our food was brought out hot and looked very good. However, we didnt have what we needed to begin eating. Our server was at another table talking, we waited and then she came over . We asked politely for what we needed. She went back to the table and began talking some more. Took along time to get the utensils, rest of our food and condiments. Our food was cold. Bad service from that young lady.

The potato soup was wonderful. I ordered beef tips very well done and they were red in the middle. Waitress took them back, soon the waitress brought me another plate. Well half was still red inside. I know cooks dont like when well done is order, sorry. I don't like seeing blood in or on my food.

Coconut crusted chicken tenders with pina colada dipping sauce...are you kidding me!? I’d consider moving from Atlanta to Athens, TN just for this meal! You can definitely tell the tenders are fresh. And the sweet potato fries are the best I’ve ever had! Thick, tender inside, crispy and just the right amount of sweetness on the outside. And our server Dameon was professional and attentive. The decor is definitely eclectic, but it’s greatly overshadowed by the terrific food.

Everyone in group found a favorite to order. The shredded barbecue pork loaded potato was great. Very accommodating. Tables not crowded together.

Great Food. Prices are worth the portions. Their steak is better than the Western Sizzlin. Their mashed potatoes aren't the best though. Chef Mike cooked our instant mashed potatoes today. (Chef Microwave). We wished we would've ordered a different side. Other than that, great job guys!

Texan brisket was awesome. Sweet potato fries were decent. They were wedge style which is not my favorite. Service was good. The brisket was definitely worth getting

The food is great!!!! But the manager Julie is very rude and hateful even if you don't have a problem.

There is not enough start for this place to give a fair rating. It is 10 diamond In my eyes and belly. The food was amazing the service was warm genuine and heart felt consern for giving each guest the best experience. The prices where spot on and portations large so expect to have left overs. I can't wait to bring the whole family.

Stopped by on the way home from vacation after seeing highway billboard advertisement. Got the trio platter of pulled pork, brisket, and ribs. I had baked beans and green beans as my sides. I was happy with all my choices and really liked the home made bbq sauce. Staff was friendly and attentive. I would recommend this place to someone driving through not wanting to eat standard chain establishments.

My husband and I both had fettuccini. They left the shell and tails on the shrimp. Very discussing. So much butter in sauce in both dishes not fit to eat. We left it. They need to give up fixing true pasta dishes until they can actually learn how to make it. Will never go back!

We found this spot randomly when needing to take a break from traveling. So glad we made the decision to stop here. Even though there was a crowd, we were seated quickly. The staff was great. Drinks stayed filled and they answered questions that we had. The beef tips were some of the best I've ever had. Honestly surprised me how good they were. Will definitely be stopping here again when we come back through.

Best pork tenderloin I've ever had! I came with my husband when he came to Athens for business for a month and after I discovered the tenderloin and green beans, I didn't want to go anywhere else to eat! Now we're traveling by on I 75 we're gonna stop by and eat. Get it ready y'all, Trisha's on the way!

Boneless Buffalo wings were great.Catfish was crunchy and not greasy.Wife loved the pulled pork sandwich. Good iced tea.Very good service.We shall return.

Everything I've eaten here is really good. I had the beef tips with mashed potatoes and green beans. The beef tips were juicy and tender! If you want good southern comfort food stop here and try it!

Service was excellent but my Texan brisket sandwich was wack...sorry chef but the brisket needs help...
